HER stands for Healing. Educating. Restoring. This name reflects my belief that mental health care should do more than just reduce symptoms, it should support the whole woman: emotionally, culturally, and spiritually. This is a space for you to unpack, unlearn, and rebuild on your terms.

Healing
I provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your story, gain insight, and build tools to navigate life with clarity and self-compassion. Using evidence based, trauma informed approaches, we work together to uncover the roots of pain, restore balance, and reconnect with your inner strengths. Whether healing from trauma, life transitions, or managing anxiety and depression, my goal is to help you feel seen, understood, and empowered.
Educating
I offer therapy that supports emotional healing while educating and empowering women to better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we explore how past experiences and societal pressures shape your well-being, helping you build insight, confidence, and the tools to navigate life’s challenges with self-trust and strength.
Restoring
I help women reclaim the parts of themselves lost or silenced by stress, caregiving, trauma, and life’s pressures. Restoration means slowing down, healing what hurts, and making space for what truly matters. It’s about coming home to yourself with gentleness, insight, and hope for what’s next.
Therapy for Birthing women
At A Space for HER, I hold space for women navigating the complex emotions that can arise during the perinatal journey. Whether you're adjusting to the transition into parenthood, grieving an infant loss such as miscarriage, termination, or loss after birth or facing the challenges of trying to conceive through natural conception, IVF, IUI, adoption, or surrogacy, you don’t have to go through it alone. This is a nurturing space for healing, connection, and support where your experiences are seen, honored, and validated.

Living as a woman in today’s world, especially as a woman of color, often means carrying the unspoken burden of being strong, nurturing, and resilient at all times. The constant pressure to manage relationships, care for others, and meet expectations can leave you feeling overwhelmed, invisible, and disconnected from yourself.
At A Space for HER, I support women who have experienced emotional wounds from toxic relationships, abuse, or constantly putting others before themselves. This is a nurturing space for you to show up just as you are without judgment, without pressure, and without the need to explain or perform.
